This is a smooth, light extra virgin olive oil with fruity aromas, and a delicate and pleasant taste. Subtle aromas of nuts are predominant although, hints of ripe fruit are also present. It has a high content of oleic acid, which is believed to help reduce bad cholesterol (LDL) and increase good cholesterol (HDL).
The oil compliments all recipes and can be used for cooking as well as a dressing. Due to its fruity nature, it is recommended it is used in its natural state; fresh to enhance the flavour of ingredients and dishes or as a dressing for salads. It is also considered to be the best oil for the preparation of mayonnaise and delicate sauces.
